I finished college in spring 2005 with my Associate of Arts Degree and spent that summer pretty much deciding my short term future: more school or join the work force? Lack of money and my parents’ idiocy pushed me into working where I took a job at Walgreens. I now hate Walgreens with a passion and have new respect for retail workers. In general, I’m sorry for every mean little thing I ever thought and every huge mess I ever made of the toy section. Children are all demon spawn. I put up with Walgreens through the holidays (sobs in memory) and most of the beginning of 2006. I then lied through my teeth so I could quit at the end of April without telling my boss I couldn’t stand her and wished her dead. On the Thursday before my last day at Walgreens I went to a job interview at Alpine Engineered Products, spent over an hour hiding the fact I was a nervous wreck, and left sure I didn’t get the job. On Monday I was offered the job and on Tuesday I had passed the drug test and was officially hired. I started on May 11, 2006 and I’m still here.
Now, I spend my 8 hours pushing paper and surfing the net. I have declared war upon our printer and the coffee machine hates me. I am mother to 60 full grown men who call themselves engineers but still don’t know how to work the copy machine or the fax machine. I’m happy. Honestly happy. I don’t think I’ve ever been honestly happy. It feels good.

I have a few people who actually know me in real life. It’s Patricia, from the Saint Charles area. I’m a regular at the Coffee Coven meetings down in Crestwood at the Barnes & Noble off of Watson Road. I was at the Four Winds Fellowship Imbolc, Ostara, and Beltane rituals for 2008. I don’t camp, so I wasn’t at the other ones. I spent most of my time at the Information Booth at the 2008 Pagan Picnic in Tower Grove Park. I’m also known as reona32 on the Yahoo! Groups. Jog your memory yet?

I spend a great deal of time reading and writing. I write mostly fanfiction, where I take the characters from a preexisting TV show or book and write my own stories with them. It’s actually very difficult because it’s a challenge to stay in character and to maintain that character’s voice. I do have a few ideas for fiction stories that I want to pop out. I’ve joined NaNoWriMo this year [2008] to force myself to get at least one of those stories out of my head. I succeed in reached the 50,000 word deadline before the end of November and won my first NaNo challenge. I am already planning my story for 2009.

At this time I still live with my parents both because of financial reasons and because I’m the main caretaker for my Mother. I have two cats; Boots, a tuxie, and Little Bit, a dilute tortie. I have many, many feather toys and pink mice.
